TCS chairman N Chandrasekaran said that IT and business services are moving towards autonomous operations, while software development is being revamped with the help of AI-led modernisation.
As per company’s FY25 Annual report Chandrasekaran said that enterprise systems are being embedded with Agentic AI and TCS has infused AI across its offerings and built intelligent agent solutions throughout the value chain.
While stating that about the benefits from Gen AI, he said, “The rise of autonomous robots and AI agents promises a future of ‘dark factories’ and AI-assisted enterprise functions.”
TCS is pursuing four key initiatives: building a large pool of AI agents to work alongside its human workforce; delivering solutions through a human-plus-AI model; making strategic investments in AI data centres and cloud infrastructure; and forming industry-leading partnerships with hardware providers, solution innovators, and start-ups.
