Is iQOO 15 Worth It? Check Leaked Prices and Specs Before You Buy

The iQOO 15 pre-booking process has already been started on Amazon India and the official iQOO India website, even before the official launch event. A new leak, which was disclosed by the tipster Abhishek Yadav and initially uploaded by TTMrIGL YouTube channel, has exposed the possible price of the device. Although these numbers are not confirmed yet, they are giving a rough idea of what the consumers might anticipate.

As per the leak, the top iQOO 15 variant having 16GB RAM and 512GB storage could bear a price tag of Rs 72,999. The entry-level version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to be listed at Rs 64,999. The effective price of the minimum variant could be brought down to about Rs 59,999 through bank offers and discounts. Therefore, the potential buyers who are waiting to know all the specifications of the device should keep an eye on the launch event.

The iQOO 15 comes with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display from Samsung. The display provides 2K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate and hence, very smooth performance in gaming and watching videos. The screen can attain a maximum brightness level of 6,000 nits and it is also equipped with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is also rated IP68/IP69 for being resistant to water and dust. Analysts are saying that with this device, the Samsung 2K LTPO AMOLED display has also made its entrance into the smartphone sector.

The iQOO 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite processor, which is the latest and fastest one in the market, among its processors. The new chip dedicated to gaming is capable of delivering real-time ray tracing graphics and maintaining 144 FPS gaming at 2K resolution. An 8K vapor chamber system is in charge of cooling which the brand claims can dissipate heat 47% better than the previous cooling systems.

The iQOO 15 is equipped with a triple camera setup consisting of three 50MP sensors, each offering different functionalities - a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens and a periscope telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The selfie camera also sports a 50MP sensor aimed at producing the best quality selfies and videos for calls.

The iQOO 15 is likely to keep a sleek and performance-oriented design. It features a body made of glass or metal, a large camera module on the back, and understated design details. Although the colors for India have not yet been officially announced, the colors of the Chinese version which had gradient and matte finishes could be offered in India as well. The IP-rated protection increases the device's robustness.
