iQOO Z10R Launch: Is This the Best Phone Under Rs 20,000?

After weeks of teasers, iQOO has unveiled the Z10R smartphone in India, expanding its Z series lineup alongside the Z10, Z10x and Z10 Lite.
The Z10R starts at Rs 19,499 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Two higher-capacity options are priced at Rs 21,499 (8GB + 256GB) and Rs 23,499 (12GB + 256GB). Sales begin July 29 at 12:00 p.m. IST on Amazon and iQOO’s India website. An introductory price cut will bring the costs down by Rs 2,000 on each variant, and select bank cards and exchange offers provide an instant Rs 2,000 discount. A six-month no-cost EMI plan is also available.
The device features a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At 7.39mm thick, the chassis carries IP68/69 dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H shock standards. The back panel is offered in Aquamarine and Moonstone colors.
Powering the Z10R is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. iQOO reports an AnTuTu score of 750,000 for the device. A graphite cooling area and dual stereo speakers manage heat and output sound during gaming and multimedia use.
A 5,700mAh battery supports 90W wired fast charging and Bypass Charging mode, which directs power to the battery first to limit device temperature during use.
Camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with 4K video recording, a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear and a 32-megapixel front camera capable of 4K capture.
Software arrives as Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15, with AI features such as Circle to Search, AI Note Assist, AI Screen Translation and AI Transcript Assist.
