Mobile manufacturer iQOO announced that its upcoming device, the Z10 Turbo+, will enable 144Hz high frame rate mode in the mobile version of Valorant. The mobile title, officially known as Valorant: Primal, will go live globally on August 19.

The capability was revealed during the ChinaJoy 2025 tech expo. Alongside iQOO, OnePlus also disclosed that its smartphones will feature the same 144Hz compatibility. Louis Li, President of OnePlus China, made the statement from the company’s booth at the event.

The iQOO Z10 Turbo+ is scheduled to debut in China on August 7, 2025. The launch event will also include the unveiling of new TWS earbuds and a fast-charging power bank.

The Z10 Turbo+ integrates MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset and houses a high-capacity 8000mAh battery. The device is engineered for prolonged mobile gaming, offering up to 20 hours of MOBA gameplay or over 22 hours of short-form video playback. A 9-minute charge cycle is designed to deliver nearly three hours of uninterrupted gaming.

A flat OLED screen powers the visuals, with peak brightness rated at 2000 nits. The model carries iQOO's simple rear aesthetic and will be sold in Cloud White, Desert, and Polar Grey variants.

Alongside the smartphone, iQOO is introducing the TWS Air 3 Pro earbuds and a portable power bank. The earbuds, which feature active noise cancellation and a semi-in-ear style, will come in Star Yellow and Star Diamond White shades. The power bank includes a 10,000mAh cell with 22.5W fast charging capabilities, offered in an Extreme Yellow finish.

Valorant: Primal has been co-developed by Riot Games and Tencent’s Photon Studio Group. The title adapts core gameplay elements from the PC version while optimizing controls for mobile users. Riot also confirmed that professional mobile esports players participated in the testing phase to improve performance. A new in-game guide system has been added to simplify the learning curve for newcomers while retaining game depth.

At present, iQOO has not confirmed the global release plans for its upcoming hardware products outside of China.
