iQOO has presented its newest smartphone with a major focus on performance, the iQOO Neo 11, to the market of China. The launch takes place just before the company’s next top model, the iQOO 15, which is likely to be released in India shortly. The Neo 11 introduces numerous advances over the predecessor, particularly in the areas of performance, display quality, and battery longevity.
The Neo 11 has a new camera arrangement, the square module used previously is replaced with a vertically aligned dual-lens setup. Customers will have the option to select from Light White, Pixel Orange, Facing the Gale, and Shadow Black colors. The Facing the Gale variant is especially highlighted as it has a color-changing back panel, similar to the design idea seen in the future iQOO 15.
The telephone is 216 grams in weight and has a thickness of 8.05mm; it still has a well-proportioned design that is suitable for daily use.
The device comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with the iQOO’s own Q2 gaming processor and Monster Super-Core Engine for better stability and performance in games. The phone has an 8K vapor cooling system to dissipate heat built up during heavy usage, which also helps the phone to maintain a good performance throughout long gaming sessions.
The Neo 11 has a huge 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate that produces very smooth visuals for gaming and streaming alike. The display also has 2,592Hz PWM dimming, a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate, and 25.4ms touch response time, making it more accurate and responsive in gaming.
The camera module on the back is composed of a 50-megapixel main sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The device also has a front-facing 16-megapixel camera for taking selfies and making video calls, which is a decrease in resolution compared to the previous Neo 10's 32-megapixel sensor.
The most significant improvement is the 7,500mAh battery that comes with 100W wired fast charging support. This pairing will not only give the battery a longer life but also offer quick charging - a perfect match for heavy users and gamers.
Though iQOO has not revealed a specific date for the Neo 11's official rollout in India, informed industry sources indicate that it will be introduced only after the iQOO 15 comes into the market next month.
In China, the price for the basic version of the iQOO Neo 11, which features 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is set at 2,599 Yuan (approximately Rs 32,500). The Indian version will likely be priced the same, which is comparable to the iQOO Neo 10 launched at Rs 31,999.
