iQOO has made it official that the smartphone iQOO 15 is their flagship phone and will be launched in India on 26th November for Rs 69,900. The interested customers can begin the pre-booking from the 20th of November. The company has also confirmed on its website that the early orders will come with special offers such as a twelve months extended warranty and a pair of iQOO TWS earbuds worth Rs 1,899.
The iQOO 15 features a Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED display that is Dolby Vision certified. The company claims that this will be the brightest mobile display in India, achieving a peak brightness of 2,600 nits in HBM mode and in the regular mode it will be 1,300 nits. The smartphone operates on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is already a high-demand issue with a TSMC's 3nm process. The device scores more than 4 million in AnTuTu benchmark. One of the highlights on the performance side is a 20% improvement in the single-core speed and a 23% rise in GPU performance compared to its predecessor.
The cooling technology is one of the strengths iQOO emphasizes the most with the country’s largest single-layer VC cooling system that covers the area of 8,000 mm². The device is backed by a 7,000 mAh fourth-generation silicon anode battery with 40W wireless charging support, ensuring long usage without the hassle of frequent recharges.
Camera lovers will have a triple rear camera setup at their disposal consisting of a 50 MP Sony periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 50 MP Sony VCS true color sensor, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with dual-axis motor rotation. Additionally, the smartphone is IP68 and IP69 certified, thus providing excellent protection against the intrusion of water and dust.
iQOO 15 uses Origin OS and features the company’s Supercomputing Q3 chip for performance optimization. Among the advanced imaging choices, the device has a Tele X lens with 100x zoom capability. The smartphone's top-of-the-line hardware is supported by software tweaks that intend to provide stable performance and luxury user experience.
