iQOO 15 India Launch Tomorrow: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 2K 144Hz Display

iQOO is going to launch its newest premium phone iQOO 15 in the Indian market on November 26. The phone was first introduced in China last month as the next generation of iQOO 13, so it is now getting ready to conquer the world with lots of upgraded features and specifications.

The company has been slowly showing the phone's best performance, display and camera quality through teasers. The iQOO 15 is going to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will be supported with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, thus it will be ready for the best performance possible in gaming and multitasking.

iQOO hasn't revealed all details concerning the India launch's format yet but it seems that tech enthusiasts can expect at least a soft launch or live streaming from the event. The official live feeds are going to be made available through iQOO India's website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. The hours leading up to the phone's debut are going to provide a lot of supplementary information.

The CEO of iQOO India has hinted that the iQOO 15 will come at a price that ranges from Rs 65,000 to Rs 70,000 including all the launch offers. According to leaked info, the base variant of 12GB + 256GB is expected to be sold for Rs 72,999 and the 16GB + 512GB model may have a price tag of Rs 79,999.

Customers who are pre-booking can get a Priority Pass for Rs 1,000, which includes iQOO TWS 1e earbuds and an additional 12-month extended warranty. After the launch, the phone is going to be available on Amazon India and in the official iQOO e-shop.

The iQOO 15 will be launched in India in two color variants Alpha (black) and Legend (white). The Legend edition comes with an eye-catching tri-color logo on the back and an LED ring around the camera module.

Teasers have already revealed the front of the device with the hole-punch, a body made of metal, and the positions of the volume and power buttons, USB-C port, SIM tray, and speakers as per usual. The phone’s dimensions are 163.65 × 76.80 × 8.10 mm and its weight is 221 g. It comes with a rating of IP68 + IP69 that means it is resistant to dust and immersion in water.

The display consists of a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED, 2K resolution (1,440×3,168 pixels), up to 144Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling in gaming mode. It has HDR and P3 color gamut support, and the screen-to-body ratio is 94.37 percent.

The iQOO 15 features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor plus a dedicated Q3 gaming chip. There are two options of memory and storage: 12GB + 256GB or 16GB + 512GB. The gaming experience comes with ray tracing support and the incorporation of an 8,000 sq. mm vapor chamber offers good thermal management. The phone has been equipped with OriginOS 6 atop Android 16.

The main camera consists of three 50MP sensors; a wide, a periscope telephoto (100x digital zoom) and an ultra-wide. The front camera has a resolution of 32MP. Night, pro, microfilm, document, fisheye, and 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras are some of the features.

The iQOO fifteen comes with a 100W wired and 40W wireless system that charges the 7000 mAh battery in about 15 minutes for extreme capacity and very fast recharge times.

The launch date is set for November 26 and the iQOO 15 is expected to be another premium smartphone with its top-notch specs, modern AI functionalities, and strong gaming power.
