The smartphone market is gearing up for a series of high-profile launches, with major brands releasing flagship devices over the next few months. After the Google Pixel 10 series debut in August, the iPhone 17 series is set to dominate September, while October is expected to see several flagship Android releases. Among the anticipated devices is the iQOO 15 5G, scheduled for its initial launch in China next month, with a global rollout expected soon after.
Leaked information from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo highlights key specifications of the iQOO 15 5G. Sources indicate significant upgrades in processing power, display, and camera technology. The device is expected to sport a 6.8-inch Samsung AMOLED display, possibly offering a 2K resolution for sharper visuals.
Performance-wise, the iQOO 15 5G is likely to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It may come paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Battery capacity is reported to be around 7,000mAh, with support for 100W fast charging, ensuring prolonged usage and quicker recharge times.
Photography capabilities are expected to include a triple-camera setup. The configuration may feature a 50MP 1/1.5-inch primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens, and an ultra-wide lens. Other rumored features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, haptic motor feedback, and dual stereo speakers for enhanced audio.
