iPhone 17 Pro Max Leak: Bigger Battery, Better Camera Coming
Apple may launch four iPhone 17 models in September with larger batteries, A19 chip, better cameras, and a slim iPhone 17 Air. India prices also leaked.

Apple appears to be gearing up for its next major iPhone reveal in September 2025, with significant changes expected across its upcoming iPhone 17 lineup. Four new devices are anticipated in the series: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
According to early reports, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could ship with a 5,000mAh battery, marking the largest power unit ever used in an iPhone. This would be a notable increase over the 4,422mAh capacity found in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The bump in battery capacity might be attributed to the Pro Max's slightly thicker design, which is reported to be 8.725mm, up from 8.25mm in its predecessor.
This larger battery, paired with Apple’s new A19 Pro chipset, is expected to deliver up to 35 hours of battery life on a single charge. Enhanced power management and chip-level efficiency improvements are likely contributing to this leap in endurance.
Leaks point to a revised rear module in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, which is said to maintain a three-lens configuration. However, adjustments in the layout may shift the LiDAR sensor and flash to the right side of the array. The iPhone 17 Air, rumored to be the slimmest model yet from Apple, might feature a minimalist design with a single rear 48MP camera and repositioned flash.
The base iPhone 17 is expected to follow the design cues of the iPhone 16, potentially offering a slightly larger screen. Across the entire range, Apple may upgrade the front-facing camera to a 24MP sensor, improving selfie quality significantly from the previous 12MP setup.
On the rear side, the regular iPhone 17 could carry a dual-camera arrangement. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are both speculated to include triple 48MP sensors, covering standard, ultra-wide, and telephoto options, appealing to photography-focused users.
Early insights suggest that Apple may maintain its existing pricing structure for the iPhone 17 series. The iPhone 17 might start at Rs 89,900, while the iPhone 17 Air could launch around Rs 99,900. Premium models like the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max may be priced at Rs 1,39,900 and Rs 1,64,900, respectively.
