Apple is gearing up to launch its next iPhone lineup, expected to include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Industry insiders predict that Apple may hold the unveiling event on September 9, 2025, though the tech giant has not released an official date.
In India, the entry-level iPhone 17 is expected to be priced around Rs 79,900. However, anticipated pricing revisions may affect both the base and Pro models. Analysts suggest that trade policies originating during the Trump administration and ongoing U.S.-China manufacturing complications may lead to increased production costs.
In the United States, market watchers estimate the iPhone 17 to launch at around $899. In the UAE, the device may be introduced with a starting price close to AED 3,799.
Market research from mid-2024 indicates that Apple plans to improve front camera capabilities across all four variants, shifting from a 12MP sensor in the iPhone 16 to a 24MP resolution. This information was first reported by Jeff Pu and subsequently backed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in early 2025.
Additionally, updates may include a revamped rear camera for the Pro models. The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to adopt a horizontal alignment and feature a 48MP telephoto lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom.
