Cupertino-based Apple is gearing up to introduce its iPhone 17 lineup, which is expected to include four distinct models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Although the official launch is still months away, credible leaks have surfaced outlining key specifications, design updates, and pricing for the upcoming devices.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may host its next major iPhone launch event in the week starting September 8, 2025. Historically, Apple has used the week following Labor Day for its iPhone launches, barring exceptions like the 2020 pandemic disruption.

Reports suggest that Apple is introducing a fresh colour palette for the iPhone 17 series. A new Sky Blue variant—similar to the shade used on the latest MacBook Air—is likely to be featured, especially on the iPhone 17 Air. Additionally, accessory makers have reportedly begun producing camera ring covers in matching hues, hinting at finalized colour schemes.

The standard iPhone 17 model is expected to be available in black, silver, green, blue, and purple, with speculation suggesting Apple's continued interest in sustainable and eco-friendly materials.

Leaks indicate that Apple may focus on refined camera technology and display upgrades across all four models. The company appears to be enhancing low-light performance and overall image clarity, particularly for the Pro and Pro Max editions.
