Apple’s latest iPhone 17 launch has triggered sharp price cuts on earlier models, and Flipkart plans to push the deals further during its upcoming Big Billion Days Sale. The annual festive season event is scheduled to begin on September 23.
According to details shared by the platform, the iPhone 16 series will see major price reductions. The iPhone 16 Pro, which is currently listed at Rs 1,12,900, will be offered at an effective price of Rs 69,999. The discount of more than Rs 42,000 could come through a mix of direct price cuts, bank deals and exchange offers. The device was originally launched in India at Rs 1,19,900.
The top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max is also expected to be part of the sale line-up. Flipkart has confirmed that its effective price will drop to Rs 89,999, down from its launch tag of Rs 1,44,900. Similarly, the standard iPhone 16 will be priced at Rs 51,999. For buyers looking at older models, the iPhone 14 is set to be available for Rs 39,999.
While Flipkart has highlighted these headline prices, the company has not specified how much of the discount will be flat versus bundled with bank or exchange schemes. Sale prices also tend to change quickly once the event begins, with stocks and offers running out within hours.
The Big Billion Days Sale is timed with the Diwali shopping rush and has become one of Flipkart’s biggest annual events. With the arrival of the iPhone 17 series in India, retailers are expected to aggressively clear previous-generation inventory through these limited-period deals.
