With the unveiling of its new X300 series smartphones, Vivo has started a new era in the smartphone market by introducing two devices, the Vivo X300 Pro and the standard X300. Although they have the same core specs, such as the Mediatek Dimensity 9500 chipset and the Zeiss optics, they vary in their aesthetic, camera configurations, and display size.

Each of the smartphones comes with a triple-camera setup, although the sensor configurations are different. The main sensor for the X300 Pro is 50MP Sony LYT 828, further complemented by a 200MP Samsung HPB for telephoto and a 50MP Samsung JN1 for ultra-wide. The X300, on the other hand, utilizes the 200MP Samsung HPB as its main camera and a 50MP Sony LYT 602 as its secondary sensor. Both phones come with the same front-facing camera having 50MP Samsung JN1 sensors.

Camera specs order changes in the previous models, and that the X300 Pro has a stronger telephoto, while the X300 a very high-res main sensor.

X300 Pro has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, hence it is the bigger of the two devices while X300 is equipped with a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display. Vivo is advertising the X300 as the smaller and more pocket-friendly unit, whereas the Pro variant gives a bigger screen for watching and playing. Both units have premium build quality as glass and aluminum constructions, plus IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistant reinforcement.

The capacities of the batteries are one of the differences between the two models. The X300 Pro packs a 6,510mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, while the X300 is provided with a 6,040mAh battery which is a bit less in size. It is sometimes commonly referred that both models are fast charging devices, hence non-stop usage and minimal downtime are assured for the customers.
