Infinix has expanded its Hot series portfolio in India with the launch of the Hot 60 5G+. The smartphone is introduced at a starting effective price of Rs 9,999, factoring in an exclusive Rs 500 launch day bank discount. Retail pricing is set at Rs 10,499 for the lone 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
The handset will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning July 17. Buyers can choose from three finishes: Shadow Blue, Tundra Green, and Sleek Black.
The Hot 60 5G+ features a 6.7-inch punch-hole HD+ screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. With a profile measuring 7.8mm thick, the device also carries an IP64 certification, offering protection from dust and light splashes.
Powering the new device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset, also used in the previous Infinix Note 40 Pro model. Memory includes 6GB RAM, with internal storage of 128GB, expandable up to 2TB via microSD.
The phone includes a 50MP main sensor on the rear and an 8MP front-facing shooter. An LED flash is integrated for both front and rear imaging needs.
Running on XOS 15, which is built on top of Android 15, the company asserts smooth usability for up to five years, though no official word on Android OS upgrades has been provided.
The Hot 60 5G+ houses a 5,200mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through a wired connection.
A standout feature of the device is the customizable AI button located on the side. Similar to Apple’s Action Button, it allows users to quickly access up to 30 different applications, switch sound profiles, take photos, and start recordings.
With its sub-Rs 10,000 pricing and feature-packed design, the Hot 60 5G+ aims to rival devices like the Lava Storm Play, iQOO Z10 Lite, and Poco M7 in India’s budget 5G smartphone segment.
