Vivo will introduce its latest smartphone, the T4R, in India on July 31 through Flipkart. The company has disclosed several core features of the upcoming device, with its pricing expected to remain under Rs 20,000.
Positioned as part of the existing Vivo T4 series — which includes the T4, T4x, T4 Ultra, and T4 Lite — the new handset is being promoted as the slimmest quad-curved display phone currently available in India.
The smartphone is confirmed to launch below the Rs 20,000 mark. Industry sources suggest the base variant may start at Rs 19,999, factoring in available bank offers.
The Vivo T4R will be offered in two shades: Blue and White. It features a vertically-aligned pill-shaped module housing a dual rear camera setup and an Aura ring light. The front panel sports a quad-curved display with a centrally-placed punch-hole camera.
The T4R will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. It will run on a custom UI based on Android 15. The handset is expected to ship with 12GB of RAM.
Camera hardware includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 2MP secondary depth camera. A 32MP front-facing unit handles selfies and video chats. Both front and rear cameras are said to offer 4K video capture.
The device will carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to water and dust.
The Vivo T4R will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting July 31. More details on storage configurations and final pricing are expected closer to the launch.
