The X Fold5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The phone will go on sale starting July 30 for Rs 1,49,999, with several promotional offers available at launch.
Weighing 217g, the X Fold5 measures 9.2 mm when folded and 4.3 mm when opened. The aerospace-grade hinge is designed for long-term durability and drop protection. The phone uses reinforced materials and an internal layout that prioritizes compactness without compromising strength.
The handset includes a 6000mAh semi-solid state battery — the largest in any foldable released in India. It supports 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. vivo claims the battery ensures high energy efficiency and improved heat management for sustained use.
The device features an 8.03-inch main screen and a 6.53-inch external display, both offering 2K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. vivo states the panel reaches 4500 nits peak brightness, the highest on any foldable phone in the country.
The X Fold5 includes a ZEISS-branded rear camera system that integrates Sony sensors. Specifications include:
* Main Camera: 50MP Sony IMX921 with Ultra-sensing VCS technology
* Ultra-wide Camera: 50MP with 120-degree field of view
* Telephoto Lens: 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom using Sony IMX882

Built with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the X Fold5 promises 30 per cent faster CPU speed and 25 per cent improved GPU rendering compared to the previous generation. The brand claims enhanced thermal stability and lag-free multitasking even under intensive use.
The X Fold5 will be sold in a single Titanium Grey color variant. Sale begins July 30. Launch benefits include:
