Xiaomi has extended its Hyper Island feature to the whole device range, which means that even some of its cheaper and mid-priced models like Redmi and Poco smartphones now enjoy the same pill-shaped interface. The mobile giant has not only included the animated hub in its premium phones but also with the new HyperOS 3.0.23 update it has made this feature available to more than just the top-line devices.
Hyper Island, which is somewhat similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, takes up a small portion of the screen at the top and shows users’ live activities. Only that the users can follow the music, call, ride or battery even in real-time. HyperOS 3 is already leaked as nearly all the devices supporting it will have the Hyper Island feature available which comprises even the low-cost and mid-range smartphone models van PaperKing13 the insider.
Even though the feature is widely spread, it will not be the case on devices with insufficient RAM (approximately 6GB or less) that will not enjoy the full range of smooth transition animations. The Hyper Island interface will still show up and be interactive, but the fluidity of high-end devices like the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro is not the same here. Xiaomi seems to be putting user experience and support first, making it possible for the feature to work decently even in low-end devices.
The HyperOS 3 update is set for staggered deployment for a couple of months, with a rollout schedule that varies according to the device tier:
October–November 2025: Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Note 14 Pro, Note 14, Poco F7, F7 Pro, F7 Ultra, X7 series.
November–December 2025: Redmi 15, 14C, 13, 13x, Note 13 Pro, Poco F6, F6 Pro, X6 Pro, M7, M6 series, C75.
December 2025–March 2026: Poco F5, F5 Pro, X6, M7 Pro 5G, C85, Redmi Note 14 5G lineup, Note 13 Pro+, 15C, and other 5G variants.
Users of mid-range and budget Xiaomi phones will gradually see the Hyper Island interface over the next few months due to this phased approach, and it will be a part of the extensive HyperOS 3 ecosystem upgrade.
