Huawei has been reported by the well-known tech blogger Digital Chat Station to be getting ready to present its foldable smartphone of the next generation, the Mate X7, in November.
It is said that the smartphone will have a 7.95-inch 2K inner display made of COE LTPO+UTG technology and will be aimed at providing great visuals and reducing energy consumption. The Mate X7 is also likely to be powered by Huawei's newest Kirin 9030 chipset which gives a performance boost over the earlier versions.
According to rumor the camera system of the phone has been improved by Huawei, with a quad-camera configuration having a 50MP primary sensor at the forefront being mentioned by the sources. The battery capacity is also expected to go up to 5,500mAh, and it will be able to charge at 66W fast via a wired connection and 50W through a wireless connection.
The smartphone will be running HarmonyOS 6 right from the start thereby keeping Huawei's emphasis on seamless integration among other gadgets in its ecosystem. The new phone is anticipated to come with the ability to connect and share among devices, thus making it very convenient to use with laptops, tablets, and other HarmonyOS-enabled devices.
As per analysts in the industry, the new product launch has put Huawei in a position to battle with the top-foldable smartphones directly, due to the mix of high-quality display tech, longer battery life, and good camera system. The company has not yet revealed the price and exact date of release.
