Huawei Mate 70 Air Launched: 7-Inch Display and 6,500mAh Battery Shock
Huawei Mate 70 Air debuts in China with 7-inch display, 6,500mAh battery, Kirin 9020B chip, HarmonyOS 5.1, and AI-powered cameras.

Huawei has revealed its newest smartphone, the Mate 70 Air, in China, as part of the new trend of very thin and light luxury phones. The smartphone display measures 7 inches and uses AMOLED technology; the device is only 6.6 mm thick and has a 120Hz refresh rate at a resolution of 2760 x 1320 pixels.
Despite the fact that it is very slim, the Mate 70 Air has a massive 6500 mAh battery which can be charged quickly through wired 66W charging. The phone is quite heavy, at 208 grams, but its IP68/IP69 rating guarantees water and dust resistance for everyday use.
The manufacturer has made an option depending on the RAM in other words. The 12GB unit comes with the Kirin 9020A processor while the 16GB version is powered by the 9020B chip.
The main camera setup on the phone's back consists of a large 50MP wide-angle sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). Then there is a 12MP RYYB telephoto camera that allows the user to magnify the subject by 3 times, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 1.5MP color sensor. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 10.7MP for taking self-portraits and for video conferences.
The Mate 70 Air also comes with several AI-driven features along with the HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system pre-installed. The phone has additional specifications such as a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side, Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.2 with LE, Hi-Res audio, Beidou satellite connectivity, NFC, and 5W reverse wired charging.
The new Mate 70 Air is available in four different colors: Gold and Silver Brocade, White Feather Robe, and Obsidian Black. Huawei has listed the device on its official online store for the China market.
The prices for the 12GB/256GB model start at CNY 4,199 ($590), while the 12GB/512GB version is CNY 4,699 ($660). For the 16GB/256GB model, the price is CNY 4,699 ($660), and the most expensive one with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs CNY 5,199 ($730).
