Samsung has begun rolling out the second One UI 8 beta update for its Galaxy S23 series smartphones. Following last week’s initial Android 16-based One UI 8 beta, the latest version is now available in India and South Korea, with plans to extend the rollout to additional regions soon.
The One UI 8 Beta 2 update weighs approximately 500MB. It includes the September 2025 Android security patch and addresses several minor bugs identified in the first beta release. Users participating in the One UI 8 Beta program are advised to install the update promptly to benefit from the fixes.
Owners of Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra devices in the eligible regions can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Update on their phones. Samsung’s beta program aims to refine the One UI 8 interface ahead of the stable release, allowing enrolled users to test new features and report issues directly to the company.
The company is expected to expand the One UI 8 beta to more markets in the coming weeks. The program remains limited to registered participants and provides early access to Android 16 features on Samsung devices.
