HONOR is preparing to unveil its latest lineup of flagship devices, including the HONOR Magic 8 series smartphones, the MagicPad 3 Pro tablet, and the new MagicOS 10 software, during a special event in China on October 15. The upcoming devices are expected to feature cutting-edge technology and high-end specifications.
The HONOR Magic 8 series will mark the company’s debut with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform, signaling a major step in performance upgrades. Benchmark listings of the global HONOR Magic 8, bearing model number BKQ-N49, indicate it will come with 12GB of RAM and run Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
The Magic 8 Pro variant is expected to include a 200MP camera sensor, promising enhanced imaging capabilities. Both standard and Pro models are reported to support fast charging, with 90W wired charging for the standard model and 120W for the Pro. Colour options across the series will include black, white, gold, and cyan.
Alongside the smartphones, HONOR will introduce the MagicPad 3 Pro tablet. The device features a 13.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3200 x 2136 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate designed to reduce eye strain while delivering smooth visuals. The tablet is powered by a 12,450mAh battery, ensuring extended usage, and runs on MagicOS 10 for seamless integration across iOS, HarmonyOS, and Android devices.
For productivity, the MagicPad 3 Pro includes a smart touch keyboard and a free-form stylus. Additionally, it incorporates HONOR’s proprietary E2 energy-efficient chip to optimize performance. Colour variants for the tablet, as shown in promotional materials, include Starry Gray, Floating Light Gold, and Moon Shadow White.
