Honor 500 Series Launch Confirmed: See Cameras, Specs & Colors Revealed

Honor has finally confirmed the official launch date of its new 500 series smartphones which has been coming for some time through teasers. On November 24 the Honor 500 and the Honor 500 Pro will be available at 7:30 PM local time (11:30 AM UTC).
This new series of smartphones will change the way Honor designs its number series, with this phone's rear camera being arranged horizontally, unlike the previous vertical arrangement. The primary camera on both devices will be 200MP, however, the Pro version will use Samsung's HP3 sensor. Besides, the Pro will have a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (IMX858), which will come with 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens, which will have 117-degree FOV.
The display and battery capacity of the Honor 500 and 500 Pro are the same: both will have a 6.55-inch OLED screen. They will be able to run for up to 8000mAh batteries each that can be charged up to 80W hardwired fast charging. The technical specifications of the Pro variant are the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor by Qualcomm with maximum 16GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. The standard Honor 500 will get the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset instead.
As for the colors, Honor not only has announced the four standard options of Blue, Pink, Black, and Silver but also, the shades that are very well designed for broad market with the phone’s modern design.
