HMD T21 Rolls Out in India With Android 14, Rs 14,499 Price Tag

HMD has introduced a new addition to its device lineup in India with the release of the HMD T21 tablet. The device is now available for purchase exclusively via the company’s official website.

The T21 tablet comes equipped with a 10.36-inch 2K IPS display and offers a resolution of 2000x1200 pixels. To ensure reduced strain during prolonged screen time, the display is SGS-certified for low blue light emissions.

Priced at Rs 15,999, the T21 is currently available at a discounted price of Rs 14,499 as part of a limited-time launch offer. It is offered in a single Black Steel variant.

The device supports voice calling over 4G networks and includes dual SIM support. It also features SMS capabilities and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The T21 meets IP52 standards for resistance to water splashes and dust, and is built with an aluminum and recycled plastic chassis.

Internally, the tablet runs on the Unisoc T612 octa-core processor. It is configured with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Running on Android 13, the tablet is eligible for and already receiving the Android 14 update.

For power needs, the T21 houses an 8,200mAh battery, which can be charged using the included 18W wired charger. Audio output is supported by dual stereo speakers enhanced by OZO Audio playback technology.

Both front and rear cameras on the T21 offer 8MP sensors with autofocus and LED flash, supporting video calls and casual photography. Google Kids Space is pre-installed to make the device suitable for children, while Netflix HD certification ensures compatibility with high-definition streaming.

Another notable feature is the Second Screen function, allowing the tablet to be used as a secondary display when connected to a PC. While the tablet supports active pens for note-taking and drawing, the stylus must be purchased separately.
