Mario Kart World will feature an exciting selection of brand-new tracks for players to race on. Mario Bros Circuit displays a desert roadtrip theme that Nintendo has revealed in all Mario Kart World promotional videos while an urban layout named Crown City and Salty Salty Speedway represent one of the game’s water stages alongside multiple other courses including familiar favorites Peach Beach and Wario Shipyard. The iconic Rainbow Road will appear as a "certain colorful course" after players completes all the Grand Prix cups according to Nintendo's hints.

Numerous new items and features along with customizable settings allow players to fully engage in their race to victory. The feather item in the game gives players the ability to jump and dodge incoming attacks. Players can use the new rewind feature to reverse time to either execute missed tricks or discover hidden pathways. As you explore the game’s free roam mode you will discover various hidden secrets including P-switches and panels that activate overworld missions for completion. Nintendo made Mario Kart World an exclusive attraction for the Switch 2 but US fans are still waiting to pre-order the game.

The launch excitement about the Nintendo Switch 2 has dissipated. The announcement of the $450 console price has left consumers stunned because the Trump administration's destructive tariff policy could lead to even higher prices in the United States. President Trump has ordered a 90-day halt on tariffs which should enable Nintendo to send more units to the US market.

Some Nintendo Switch 2 game titles such as Mario Kart World will now carry a price tag of $80 which surpasses their previous $70 price point. You need to ensure that the console works before you can actually play the game. The tariffs make it impossible for US consumers to pre-order the Switch 2 and the same restrictions apply to Canadian pre-orders.
