Guizhou (China): In the mountains of southwest China lies Guizhou, once known for its rugged landscapes, now emerging as a big data center. With the fusion of imagination and technology, the province is reshaping the future and capturing the world's attention. At the 2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo in late August, Thai content creator Nattapong was amazed:"I've never seen such a futuristic event," he said after stepping into the exhibition halls.

The expo showcased over 1,300 cutting-edge technologies and products, from AI translation glasses to Tesla's first appearance at the expo. With 375 global companies in attendance, the "Digital Valley of China" made its influence tangible.

If the expo is a "laboratory of tomorrow", then Guian New Area is Guizhou's "central brain." At the National Integrated Computing Network National (Guizhou) Hub Centre, 595 powered racks work nonstop, processing massive volumes of data for applications ranging from weather forecasts to biomedical research.

As a key part of the "East Data, West Computing" project, the hub is building 374P of computing power and 50PB of storage. Supported by Guizhou's cool climate and stable geology, the province has attracted leading enterprises like Huawei, Tencent, and Apple. Today, Guian hosts 26 large-scale data (computing power) centers with computing capacity exceeding 81 Eflops, making it one of China's leading regions for domestic intelligent computing power. This digital energy is powering industries across Guizhou.

At Geely Guiyang Manufacturing Plant, Nattapong toured workshops where robots and big data drive highly automated production. With more than 200 Kuka robots, and one new car rolling off the line almost every minute, the factory embodies "Made in Guizhou" at an Industry 4.0 Level.

Over the past decade, Geely has cultivated over 40 automobile parts enterprises in Guiyang, creating tens of thousands of jobs. From engines to batteries, the plant represents both industrial transformation and Guizhou's rise as a hub for intelligent manufacturing.
