GTA Online Update Adds Secret Money Fronts and New Missions

Rockstar Games has announced a major update to GTA Online, titled "Money Fronts," which will go live on June 17 across all major platforms. The update introduces new avenues for in-game criminal operations through front businesses and enhanced gameplay features.
Players will initiate their ventures by acquiring a car wash located in Strawberry, which acts as the initial point for laundering virtual currency. This business will form the core of a broader operation aimed at disguising illegal profits within a legitimate structure.
With the primary front in place, participants can expand their holdings by investing in additional businesses such as Smoke on the Water and Higgins Helitours. These acquisitions will interconnect with existing assets like the Weed Farm and Air Cargo operations, enabling a multi-tiered revenue network.
The expansion also integrates mission-based elements to help players manage in-game notoriety, referred to as “Heat.” Engagements and in-game choices will influence law enforcement attention, encouraging strategic play to keep operations under the radar.
New vehicles are part of the rollout, including models such as the Karin Everon RS, Woodlander SUV, and Declasse Tampa GT. These additions aim to support missions while offering aesthetic and performance upgrades.
Gameplay adjustments accompany the content update. Fifty more vehicles will be compatible with Missile Lock-On Jammers. Replayable missions will feature skippable cutscenes, and players can now earn double Arena Points from various sources.
Subscribers to the GTA+ program will receive exclusive perks. Benefits include early access to the Överflöd Suzume supercar, two daily spins at the Diamond Casino’s Lucky Wheel, and other bonuses tied to the expansion.
The "Money Fronts" update is scheduled for release on June 17 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It extends the financial and strategic gameplay aspects of GTA Online, offering a broader set of tools for players to grow their digital empires.
