GTA Online Players Get Free GTA$2M and Discounts in Rockstar Event

Rockstar Games has introduced a new event in GTA Online, offering players substantial in-game rewards and time-limited deals. The “End of Summer Giveaway,” running from August 21 through September 17, provides millions in GTA$ credits and discounted prices on several luxury vehicles.
The promotion is seen as a key update leading into Rockstar’s upcoming “Money Fronts” content drop, which is widely expected to feature mansions—a long-requested feature in the GTA Online community. With GTA 6 officially set to release on May 26, 2026, players believe this could be among the last large-scale updates for the current title.
Anyone who logs into GTA Online during the event period will automatically receive GTA-$1 million. Members of the GTA+ subscription service will get an additional GTA-$1 million, bringing the total bonus to GTA-$2 million per account. Rockstar confirmed the in-game funds will appear within 72 hours after login, and the offer extends to both returning players and new accounts.
The company stated that the cash boost provides an opportunity for players to invest in high-end vehicles, expand their in-game businesses, or upgrade property portfolios.
As part of the ongoing event, Rockstar has lowered prices across a range of premium rides, including motorcycles, aircraft, supercars, and classic sports cars. Discounts range between 30 and 40 per cent but will only be available until August 28.
The giveaway and limited-time offers are designed to keep GTA Online players engaged ahead of future updates and the anticipated transition to GTA 6 next year.
