Rockstar Games has officially announced the next GTA Online update, A Safehouse in the Hills, which will be released on December 9th on Tuesday. The update allows players to buy some of the luxury mansions scattered around the large San Andreas map of the game.
If players want to be part of Rockstar's "Very Important Prix," they have to ready their in-game money because the premium-priced luxury mansions are not going to be selling cheap. The update comes at a time when the speculation about the budget and pricing of the forthcoming GTA 6 has come to a crescendo, which has led to an escalation of interest in San Andreas real estate among gamers.
In the UK, updates usually become available at about 10 a.m. GMT, thus players may have to wait until after work or school to get a taste of the new gaming content if they are in those time zones. Nevertheless, Rockstar’s online community has always been patient when it comes to the arrival of new features.
Not only does the A Safehouse in the Hills update grow the world of the game with permanent mansion properties, but it also differs from the previously available interior-only apartments. Two major areas of construction have been marked out: East Vinewood Hills, which has a view of the casino, and West Vinewood, which is near the house of Miguel Madrazo.
There are even rumors that some of the famous single-player sites, including the mansion of Devon Weston, will be unlocked in GTA Online, and thus playable. Those willing to brave the three “New Listings” missions — Due Diligence, Fixes & Fittings, and Hard Deadlines — by the 7th December will receive a $2 million discount as a bribe. Besides, a further $1 million cash bonus will be given within 72 hours of the mission being completed.
Additionally, the update brings in missions related to the in-game real estate firm, Prix Luxury Real Estate, which serves players with story-driven content in addition to the newly available properties. Though the exact costs for the villas have not been revealed, analysts predict steep gaming expenses.
The latest GTA Online upgrade grants players new goals and new real estate choices during the time when the release of GTA 6 still seems distant, thus maintaining the interaction of the community until the arrival of the next large edition.
