GTA Online Halloween 2025 Update: Slasher Mode, Zombies, Free Rewards

Rockstar Games has released its Halloween-themed update for GTA Online, running through October 2025. The new content introduces a submarine-based Slasher mode, revives classic Halloween Adversary Modes, and brings back zombie survival events at Cayo Perico and Ludendorff Cemetery. Players can earn themed masks, vehicles, and other rewards through weekly challenges.

The update debuts the Ramius Submarine Slasher mode. In this mode, one player starts as the stalker equipped with a Shotgun while the other players navigate the submarine using Flashlights. After three minutes, the roles switch, giving hunted players Shotguns while the stalker role rotates.

This mode is scheduled from October 16 to October 22 and offers double GTA$ and RP. Other returning Adversary Modes include:

* Beast vs. Slasher: October 2–8

* Judgement Day: October 9–15

* Condemned: October 23–29

* Slasher repeats: October 30–November 5

All modes offer double rewards, with GTA Plus Members stacking up to four times the usual rewards.

Halloween 2025 brings back two zombie survival challenges:

* Cayo Perico Survival: October 2–8, offering double GTA$ and RP.

* Ludendorff Cemetery Survival: October 23–November 5, offering triple rewards.

Players face waves of zombies, including juggernauts, armoured conquistadors, splitters, zombie DJs, and possessed animals. The update also allows users to incorporate Island Zombie Shamblers and Runners into custom creations using the Survival Creator tool.

Players can unlock free Halloween masks and buy discounted spooky vehicles such as the LCC Sanctus motorcycle, Albany Lurcher muscle car, Albany Franken Stange sports classic, and Chariot Romero Hearse.

Weekly challenges running throughout October reward players with GTA$ bonuses and collectible Halloween masks:

* October 2–8: Survive 2 Waves – GTA$200,000 + Brown Vintage Zombie Mask

* October 9–15: Complete 3 Taxi Fares – GTA$200,000 + Weathered Vintage Mummy Mask

* October 16–22: Win 1 Adversary Mode – GTA$200,000 + Brown Vintage Werewolf Mask

* October 23–29: Survive 4 Waves – GTA$200,000 + Gray Jumping Spider Mask

* October 30–November 5: Win 1 Adversary Mode – GTA$200,000 + Gray Hooded Skull Mask

The Vinewood Undead Collection is available through weekly challenges starting October 2. Rewards include the Slasher Clown Outfit, Please Stop Me Mask, Vinewood Zombie Tee, and Skulls livery for the Mammoth Avenger.

Weekly community-created Jobs include themed Deathmatches, haunted racing tracks, and large-scale obstacle courses. UFO sightings and ghost investigations appear across Los Santos. Players can also collect Jack O’Lanterns throughout the month for additional GTA$ bonuses.
