GTA 5 Players Alert: Latest Update Fixes Major Exploits & Cheats

Rockstar Games has stealthily distributed the GTA 5 update 1.55 to all gaming platforms after the A Safehouse in the Hills content for GTA Online went live last week. The new update is mainly composed of fixing gameplay bugs and removing exploits but not adding anything new.

The players have pointed out some of the issues that were present in the DLC and overlooked during the initial release. The update 1.55 has come in to deal with those troubles. Among them is the infamous God Mode glitch which permitted users to be impervious to attack. On top of that, the One Weed delivery bug has been fixed. Before, it was possible to tick missions off as done—even if the entire delivery hadn’t been done—mostly if the player’s vehicle exploded right after a single drop-off.

Even though Rockstar hasn’t released an official list of changes yet, the patch is considered to cover the duplicate vehicle trick and the business boost trick, two very often mentioned problems that seriously disrupt the GTA Online gaming experience. Players who were waiting for new cars or updates will be delayed; it is thought that any holiday-themed content will come out closer to Christmas or New Year’s.

Rockstar is likely to unveil the detailed patch notes sometime later today. Nevertheless, since this rollout is mainly about repairs, it is probably not going to include any major new features.

In other developments, the story of GTA 6 still captures the attention due to its postponed release, which is now set for 2026 November.
