GT8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Phone Released: 16GB RAM & 7000mAh Battery

The GT8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition smartphone, which was previously announced, is now officially available from realme. This device is particularly attractive for collections and is designed for F1 enthusiasts, showcasing a distinctive design that takes cues from the Aston Martin racing team.

The limited edition device offers two different Deco styles—square and round—for the camera at the back, and each of these comes with its own custom-made protective case. Even the tool for ejecting the SIM card has been created in such a way to resemble the theme of the edition. The whole device has been heavily personalized with a racing-style UI for the interface and images come with an exclusive Aston Martin F1 watermark.

Moreover, other features of the GT8 Pro Aston Martin F1 edition are a newly designed lens module with a mechanical layout. Both Deco styles are decked out in carbon fiber textures, while the exterior is finished in a lemon-yellow color reminiscent of the team’s color scheme.

The F1 team’s silver wing logo is printed on the phone, and double-wing aerodynamic curves with a concave transition have been made to improve grip ergonomics. The rear of the phone is painted with a metallic finish, which is furthered by a one-piece metal frame in suitable tones.

The smartphone boasts a 6.79-inch 2K+ OLED display with a resolution of 1440×3136 pixels, a peak brightness level of 7000 nits, support for Dolby Vision, a touch sampling rate of 3200Hz, and DC dimming at the hardware level.

In terms of performance, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm processor together with the Adreno 840 GPU and R1 Graphics chip. There is an ample amount of RAM and the storage capacity is also huge—16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 is the platform it runs on.

Photography is one of the main features of the new phone, which comes with a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP Ricoh GR main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor along with a 3x periscope telephoto camera. The zoom options are 6x lossless and up to 120x hybrid zoom. At the front, there is also a 32MP camera. The phone comes with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor for security purposes.

The device's dimensions are 161.8×76.87×8.2mm, its weight is 218g, and its water and dust resistance ability is rated IP66, IP68, and IP69 respectively. The device's audio is delivered through stereo speakers, USB-C, and Hi-Res audio. The device's connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS (Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS), NFC, and USB-C.

The device's heart is a 7000mAh battery along with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging for the GT8 Pro model.

The realme GT8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition is offered in a single 16GB+1TB configuration, retailing at 5,499 CNY (around USD 772 / Rs 67,910). The phone is already available for sale all over China.
