Apple’s iPhone 16, introduced at the company’s "It’s Glowtime" event in September 2024, is now listed at a significant discount on Amazon India. The 128GB model, originally priced at Rs 79,900, carries a marked-down tag of Rs 74,000. Enhanced exchange deals and bank offers bring the effective cost down to Rs 27,600.
On Amazon India, users trading in a fully functional iPhone 15 (512GB) can claim up to Rs 42,400 in exchange credit. That allowance cuts the 128GB Black variant’s price to Rs 31,600. HDFC credit cardholders then receive an additional Rs 4,000 cashback, settling the final payment at Rs 27,600.
The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch OLED display with 2556×1179 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 460 ppi. It holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Camera Control offers instant access to the fusion lens and object recognition tools. The rear setup includes a 48-megapixel main sensor with 2x telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultra wide module. A 12-megapixel TrueDepth front camera supports spatial photo and video capture. New audio tools such as Audio Mix enable post-capture sound blending and wind-noise suppression via machine learning.

Running iOS 18, the iPhone 16 introduces Apple Intelligence. Launching next month in select regions, the feature integrates writing aids in Mail, Notes and third-party apps and adds live transcription and summarization for calls in the Phone app.
