Google Pixel Watch 4 Finally Launches in India: Price, Specs, Features

The launch of Google's Pixel Watch 4 in India has just been confirmed, which is several months after the smartwatch first made its global debut. The device that was unveiled in August and gradually made available in different parts of the world by October has now been put up for sale on the official Google online store in India.
The Pixel Watch 4 is now available in two different sizes. The 41mm Wi-Fi-only variant comes with a price tag of Rs 39,900 while the 45mm model is priced at Rs 43,900. The smartwatch is likely to be displayed very soon by Google’s e-commerce partners including Flipkart and will also be available in some offline retail outlets.
The 41mm variant has a range of combinations, such as a case of Polished Silver Aluminium with Iris or Porcelain Active Bands, a case of Champagne Gold with a Band of Lemongrass, and a case of Matte Black with an Obsidian Band. The 45mm variant comes in Satin Moonstone, Polished Silver, and Matte Black painted Aluminum cases, again, with matching Moonstone, Porcelain, or Obsidian bands.
Pixel Watch 4 features an AMOLED display with a 3D curved surface and an always-on mode. The display supports DCI-P3 colour gamut and renders an utmost brightness of up to 3000 nits. For display protection, Google has utilized custom 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The smartwatch operates on Wear OS 6.0 by Google and receives its power from Qualcomm's Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor with a Cortex-M55 co-processor. Users will have access to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal eMMC storage for their apps and media.
Google has embedded a plethora of sensors for physical and health monitoring. The mentioned sensors are the optical heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, ECG functionality, accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor. Along with these the device also features Daily Readiness Score and Sleep Profile which together provide users with the utmost in-depth insights about their health behavior.
On the connectivity front, there are Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC and an LTE version. However, Satellite SOS accessibility is only for customers in the US.
Battery capacity depends on the model. The 41mm Pixel Watch 4 contains a 325mAh cell that lasts for up to 30 hours with the always-on display on or two days with Battery Saver mode. The 45mm option uses a bigger 455mAh battery that can run for up to 40 hours or three days in Battery Saver mode. Both variants come with USB-C fast charging which is able to power up to 80% in under 30 minutes.
