On August 28, 2025, Google's eagerly anticipated Pixel 10 series officially went on sale in India. The lineup, which was unveiled at the global launch event in New York earlier this month, consists of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the top-tier Pixel 10 Pro XL. The new models offer extended software support, improved AI capabilities, and significant hardware upgrades.
Premium Upgrades for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL
- The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL have new finishes—Moonstone, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Jade—while maintaining the design language from the previous year.
- Display: The Pro XL has a larger 6.8-inch panel (1344 x 2992), while the Pixel 10 Pro has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display (1280 x 2856).
- Both allow for peak brightness up to 3,300 nits and adaptive refresh rates between 1Hz and 120Hz. Durability is guaranteed by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
- Cameras: The 50MP primary, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto cameras on both phones have 5x optical and up to 100x hybrid zoom. A 42MP selfie camera is located on the front. 8K (upgraded from 4K) video recording is available.
- Performance: The Tensor G5 chip, manufactured by TSMC, powers the processor, which offers 60% better AI processing and 34% faster CPU performance than the Tensor G4. Additionally, it incorporates the Titan M2 security chip and Gemini Nano AI.

While maintaining the recognisable design of its predecessor, the Pixel 10 boasts a major improvement: it is the first base Pixel to come with a telephoto lens.
