Google will introduce its latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 10, on August 20, 2025. The new model succeeds the Pixel 9 and is positioned as a major step forward in design, hardware, and artificial intelligence integration.
Industry estimates suggest the Pixel 10 will be priced between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000 for the base configuration. The device is expected to be available through Flipkart and Google’s authorized outlets soon after the global release. At this price range, the smartphone will directly compete with Apple’s iPhone 16 and Samsung’s Galaxy S25 in the premium market segment.
Early leaks indicate that the Pixel 10 will retain the horizontal camera housing but in a slimmer format. Reports also point to a titanium frame paired with a matte glass rear panel, aimed at better durability and grip. Color variants are expected to include Obsidian Black, Porcelain White, and a limited Emerald Green edition.
The upcoming Pixel is said to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The upgraded panel is expected to deliver smoother gaming and improved visibility in direct sunlight, aligning with advancements seen across the flagship category.
At the core of the Pixel 10 will be Google’s Tensor G5 chipset, built on TSMC’s 3nm process node. The new processor is designed to enhance both speed and power efficiency. The phone will ship with Android 15, alongside a suite of AI tools that remain exclusive to Pixel devices.
Google’s focus on computational photography continues with the Pixel 10. The handset is likely to carry a 50MP primary camera and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. Enhanced low-light performance and an upgraded Astrophotography 2.0 mode are expected, alongside AI-driven improvements for sharper imaging.
The Pixel 10 is tipped to house a 4,800mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging. Wireless and reverse wireless charging are also expected. Google is working on AI-based battery health optimization to extend long-term performance.
With its combination of hardware upgrades, AI-centric features, and competitive pricing, the Pixel 10 is poised to intensify the rivalry in the flagship smartphone space as Google targets both loyal Pixel users and high-end smartphone buyers.
