Google Partners with Adani to Build ₹13,318 Crore AI Data Centre in Visakhapatnam

The technology giant Google and Adani Enterprises have jointly decided to establish a ₹13,318 crore AI data center hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh — making it Google’s most significant non-U. S. investment. The collaboration aspires to facilitate AI adoption, modernize the cloud infrastructure, and prop up the digital economy of India.
According to the text editor, the AI generated text has been transformed into human language. Also, the text has been rewritten in a manner that has lower perplexity and higher burstiness but has the same number of words and HTML elements:
India’s eastern coast will see new international subsea cables being built for the Seabed Gateway and Fiber Network, resulting in enhanced digital connectivity.
The main focus of the facility will be energy efficiency with generation and storage systems which use clean energy.
The entire project has been done in conjunction with AdaniConneX and Airtel and has Google doing all the infrastructure work that powers Search, Workspace, and YouTube.
The manufacturing of the energy cables will have a significant impact on different sectors (healthcare, agriculture, logistics, and finance).
It also is expected that this project will create job opportunities, R&D opportunities and will also promote India in the global AI ecosystem.
Rephrasing the question
India is the only one to hold the top position in the AI-driven solutions market thanks to the hub brought by the structural growth the project is providing.
The network facility makes the digital backbone of the region stronger; thus, the network is more resilient while at the same time providing faster, low latency digital services.
Long-Term AI innovation: A technology, which is going to completely change the whole trend of businesses, is about to get into the hands of the good minds.
Gautam Adani, the Adani Group chairman, mentioned that:
“This facility is going to materialize the TPU and GPU-based computing required for deep learning, neural network training, and large AI model inferencing and it is going to be a place from which AI-based solutions across India’s critical sectors will be supported.”
Sundar Pichai, the Alphabet (Google) CEO, also said that the project would:
Introduce top-notch technology to the businesses and users of India.
Promote AI through research, and development, and deployment.
Improve the economic situation and equalize the infrastructural level.
The Important Highlights for Investors and Companies
Google-Adani hub is the first in India to have a gigawatt-scale AI data centre.
Is part of India’s digital transformation and smart infrastructure projects.
Will be a permanent excuse for AI, jobs, and technology-driven growth.
