Google Adds AI Tools to Pixel 9 Pro, Watch With Free Access
Google’s July Pixel update brings Veo 3, Gemini AI, and Circle to Search AI Mode to India. Pixel 9 Pro users get 1 year of Google AI Pro free.

Google has pushed a new Pixel Feature Drop for July 2025, delivering an array of AI enhancements across its Pixel ecosystem. The latest update introduces Veo 3 video generation, AI-powered upgrades to Circle to Search, and Gemini integration for the Pixel Watch. Notably, several key features are now operational in India, expanding access to AI tools across one of Google's major user bases.
Users of the Pixel 9 Pro can now access Veo 3, a tool that converts text prompts into short, realistic videos with natural audio. Initially demonstrated at Google I/O, Veo 3 is part of the Google AI Pro suite, which will be available to Pixel 9 Pro owners for one year at no additional cost. This addition positions the Pixel 9 Pro as a mobile content creation hub, providing users with advanced AI capabilities directly on-device.
Google’s Circle to Search function is evolving with the addition of AI Mode, now live in India and the U.S. This new feature allows for deeper contextual engagement—users can circle an item on their screen and then follow up with natural language queries. For instance, circling a product enables questions like "Where can I buy this in India?" or "What’s a cheaper alternative?"—and Google responds instantly using AI.
The update also brings functionality to mobile gaming. Players can now long-press the home button during gameplay, prompting the AI to retrieve guides, walkthroughs, or video tips relevant to the in-game moment. This enhancement is expected to support a more intuitive and interactive gaming experience.
Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, is now rolling out to Pixel Watch models running Wear OS 4, including in India. Users can interact with Gemini directly from their watch to handle queries, manage calendar events, navigate, or even compose messages, enhancing smartwatch utility through seamless AI access.
This feature drop marks one of the most significant AI-centric updates for the Pixel ecosystem in 2025, especially for Indian users who are gaining access to tools previously limited to other regions.
