MANDI, INDIA — The 6th World Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Advances and Applications (WCAIAA 2025) concluded at Sardar Patel University, solidifying its reputation as a premier international forum for cutting-edge AI research. Held on 17 and 18 May 2025, the two-day summit featured several technical sessions, including keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. The summit brought together leading scientists, industry pioneers and IEEE Fellows from over eight nations to address the next generation of intelligent systems.

The conference, known for its rigorous academic standards, accepted approximately 20% of the 1,000+ submissions received this cycle. This highly selective acceptance rate underscores the conference's commitment to showcasing only the most innovative and methodologically sound research in the field. The event’s proceedings are set to be published in Springer Nature’s respected "Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems" series, ensuring global visibility through indexing in SCOPUS and DBLP.

The 2025 edition was steered by a distinguished committee including Dr. Ashish Tripathi of Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Prof. Apu Kumar Saha of NIT Agartala, and Prof. Vivek Shrivastava of NIT Uttarakhand. Their leadership ensured a convergence of academic theory and practical application, addressing universal challenges facing the AI research network today. The conference also featured participation from major technology companies and startups, with several sponsors showcasing AI-driven solutions in healthcare, finance, autonomous systems, and sustainable development.

The "Top 0.4%" Distinction The highlight of the summit was the announcement of the Best Paper Awards. In a process described by the steering committee as "exceptionally competitive," only four papers were selected for this honor from the pool of over 1,000 submissions. This places the winning research in the top 0.4% of all work submitted to the conference.

2025 Best Paper Award Winners The conference recognized excellence across four critical tracks. The complete list of honorees includes:

  • Artificial Intelligence Track: "Multimodal Deepfake Detection: Audio Analysis with Librosa, Video Classification via CNN, and Image Verification using Perceptual Hashing" Authors: Sai Svetha B, Seraphine T, and Abdhur Rahman.

  • Data Analytics Track: "A Novel Data-Centric Optimized Feature Engineering Approach for Accurate Real-Time Bread Edibility Classification"
  • Authors: D.S. Guru and Swaroop D.

  • Intelligent Sensors, Devices & Application Track: "Enhancing Robustness against Advanced Cyber Threats through Low-Complexity Elliptic Galois Cryptography for Secure Cloud Data Storage"

Authors: Adarsh Vaid, Satish Bhambri, Chetan Sharma, and Suharsh Anand.

  • Emerging Techniques Track: "Blockchain and Generative Agent AI for Secure and Decentralized Data Marketplaces"

Authors: Mahesh Kumar Goyal, Harshini Gadam, and Subhankar Panda.

As WCAIAA 2025 closes, these selected works—now part of the permanent scientific record in the Springer LNNS series—are expected to drive the research agenda forward. The conference organizers expressed confidence that the frameworks presented in Mandi will see practical industry adoption in the coming years. https://www.scrs.in/conference/wcaiaa2025
