Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 FE Tipped for Samsung July Launch

Samsung has officially confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 9 in Brooklyn. While the company has not disclosed the complete lineup, multiple industry reports point to the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and for the first time, a Fan Edition (FE) variant in the Flip series.
Spigen, a well-known case manufacturer, has published product listings for both the Galaxy Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE on its site, effectively verifying the existence of the new model. This development follows months of speculation about the possibility of an affordable FE version of Samsung's foldable lineup.
The Flip 7 FE is expected to carry similar internal specifications as the standard model, including Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset based on the 3nm process. It will likely feature a 3.4-inch external display with a dual-camera setup and a 6.7-inch internal foldable screen. Powering the device could be a 4,000mAh battery.
If the FE branding becomes a recurring element, Samsung may integrate it into future summer lineups alongside its regular foldables.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will be livestreamed globally. In India, viewers can tune in on Samsung’s official YouTube and social media channels at 7:30 PM IST. Pre-launch leaks suggest the Galaxy Flip 7 FE may start around $740, approximately Rs 64,000. Official pricing will be confirmed during the event.
