Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra is drawing attention as rumors and leaks hint at significant hardware upgrades. Expected to launch next year, the device is set to continue the legacy of Samsung’s Ultra lineup with a top-tier Snapdragon processor and a high-end camera system.
According to early leaks, the 16GB RAM variant with 256GB storage could debut in India at around Rs 1,59,999. In the United States, the phone might be listed at $1,799, while the Dubai market may see it priced from AED 6,670.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain a quad-camera setup, similar to its predecessor, with one notable change. Samsung may replace the 200MP ISOCELL sensor with a 200MP Sony camera. Supporting sensors are likely to include a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP periscope telephoto, and a 12MP telephoto module.
Design-wise, leaks suggest a shift from the previous floating camera setup to a traditional camera bump. Additionally, the device is rumored to be thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, continuing Samsung’s trend of producing slimmer devices.
The S26 Ultra is likely to feature an advanced AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. Powering the device may be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, combined with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Cooling improvements could include a 20 per cent larger vapor chamber compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, enhancing thermal management.
