Galaxy S25 Edge: Samsung's New Flagship with 200MP Camera Revealed

Samsung will officially unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, on May 13, 2025, at 5:30 AM. The announcement marks the introduction of what the company describes as "the next evolution of Galaxy," blending advanced mobile AI with state-of-the-art engineering in a sleek and ultra-slim design.

A standout feature of the Galaxy S25 Edge is its 200MP primary camera, offering a significant upgrade in mobile photography. Paired with Samsung's Galaxy AI, the device promises enhanced image quality, intuitive photo-taking capabilities, and effortless editing and sharing. This new smartphone aims to provide users with an exceptional experience, pushing the boundaries of mobile photography and AI technology.

Leaks suggest the Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in two configurations: a 256GB model priced at €1,362 (approximately Rs 1,28,300) and a 512GB version priced at €1,488 (around Rs 1,40,200). In India, it is anticipated to be priced between Rs 1,13,000 and Rs 1,31,900, putting it in a similar price range to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, positioning it as a premium device.

At just 5.84mm thick, the S25 Edge boasts an ultra-slim design without compromising on performance. The device features a robust titanium frame for durability and resistance to scratches. Users will have the choice of three color options: Titanium Icy Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM, the phone promises smooth multitasking and high-end performance.

The device will be equipped with a dual-lens camera setup. In addition to the 200MP primary camera, it will feature a 12MP front camera. However, due to the phone's slim profile, the battery capacity is relatively smaller, with a 4,000mAh battery compared to other flagship devices.

While the Galaxy S25 Edge has yet to officially launch, it is already shaping up to be a formidable contender in the premium smartphone market.
