Samsung officially introduced the latest Galaxy foldable lineup at its Galaxy Unpacked event held on July 9. The newly announced series includes three smartphones: Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The brand has brought notable improvements in hardware, performance, and artificial intelligence tools this year.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 models come with a slimmer hinge mechanism and integrate Galaxy AI functionalities like Gemini Live, Now Bar, and Now Brief. Samsung categorizes these handsets as “AI phones,” aiming to redefine multitasking with intelligent software enhancements. All three models are equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset and run on One UI 8 built over Android 16.

Samsung has opened pre-orders via Samsung.com, Amazon, and Flipkart. Those pre-booking the Z Fold 7 or Z Flip 7 can claim a complimentary storage upgrade worth Rs 12,000. Buyers of the Flip 7 FE are entitled to a similar upgrade valued at Rs 6,000. All models are eligible for up to 24-month No Cost EMI. The devices will officially be available for purchase starting July 25.

The foldables are powered by Samsung’s latest AI integrations aimed at productivity and user convenience. Features such as Gemini Live provide real-time assistance, while Now Brief offers intelligent summaries. The new Now Bar enhances user navigation.
