Vivo Y400 Pro 5G With AI & Curved Display Coming Soon

Vivo has officially announced the India launch of its upcoming 5G smartphone, the Y400 Pro, confirming its arrival on June 20. The device will debut under Vivo's Y series and is expected to feature a slim 7.4mm body, making it one of the slimmest options in its segment. A 3D curved AMOLED display and several AI-enhanced functions are set to highlight the offering.

Vivo shared visuals revealing the rear design, which includes a vertical pill-shaped camera module with two sensors arranged in distinct squircle housings. An LED flash accompanies the camera setup within a silver-finished island on a white marbled rear panel.

The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G is likely to arrive with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED panel, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The handset may be equipped with a dual rear camera array, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary lens and a 2MP secondary shooter. A 32MP front-facing camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls.

Internally, the device is speculated to house a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and be available in two configurations—8GB RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. A 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support is likely to power the phone.

Vivo also hinted at launching other Y400 series models alongside the Pro variant. While pricing details remain under wraps, the Y400 Pro 5G is anticipated to target the mid-range segment, with an expected price around Rs. 25,000.

Software-wise, the phone is projected to run on Android 15 with Vivo’s custom Funtouch 15 skin. Key AI tools may include AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, AI Superlink, AI Screen Translation, and Google’s Circle to Search integration. The phone will reportedly feature an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and could come in three finishes: gold, nebula purple, and white.
