Vivo V50e with Dimensity 7300 SoC and 5600mAh Battery Debuts in India: Check Price and Specs

The Vivo V50e, a new midrange Smartphone by Vivo, was presented today in India. This is just a cut-down budget version of Vivo V50 which had been launched several months earlier. The other notable features include an AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset, dual cameras of 50 MP capacity, and a 5600 mAh battery, among others. A detailed view of the Vivo V50e follows.

The Vivo V50e will cost Rs. 28,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and will be priced at Rs. 30,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The device will come in Pearl White and Sapphire Blue colors. Pre-booking started today and this bad boy will be open for buying starting April 17 from Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India e-store.

The Vivo V50e screen is reported to be a 6.77-inch curved-edge AMOLED display that features a 1440p or 1080p resolution at a 90Hz refresh-rate, 10-bit colours, HDR10, and a 500-nit peak brightness. The display also supports HDR10—paired with Diamond Shield Glass protection. It is driven by the MediaTek vivo dimensity 7300soc chip paired with the Mali-G615 GPU and can be had in an 8GB RAM variant with 256GB storage.

Furthermore, the V50e runs Android 15 with FuntouchOS 15 skin on it and all the associated perks with it, which promises three years of flagship OS upgrades but four years security update coverage. Optically, the Vivo V50e is burdened with a dual rear camera unit comprising a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear sensor with OIS along with an 8MP ultrawide angle shooter. The Aura Light feature is also present. And it has a 50MP front camera at the front.

But the Vivo V50e supports 90-watt fast wired charging with a bigger 5600mAh battery. The device also features IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Connectivity features comprise 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.
