Sony Bravia 8 II Smart TVs Debut in India: Specs, Price & Availability | 2025

Sony has officially launched its latest Bravia 8 II series premium smart TVs in India on June 17, 2025, featuring cutting-edge QD-QLED display technology. Designed for immersive entertainment, the new Bravia 8 II series runs on Sony’s powerful XR processor and offers an advanced viewing experience with Dolby Vision Atmos, Acoustic Surface Audio+, and Studio Calibrated Mode.
Available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes, these IMAX Enhanced televisions support both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, ensuring cinematic picture and sound quality. The Acoustic Surface Audio+ turns the entire screen into a speaker by using actuators behind the display to produce vibrations and sound, delivering an immersive audio experience further enhanced by integrated subwoofers.
The Bravia 8 II series also features access to Sony Pictures Core, providing a curated collection of Sony Pictures movies in 4K HDR and IMAX Enhanced formats.
For gaming enthusiasts, Sony has optimized the Bravia 8 II series for PlayStation 5 with features like Auto HDR Tone Mapping, 4K at 120fps, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The TV automatically switches to Game Mode when connected to a PS5 to reduce input lag and enhance gameplay.
Pricing in India:
- 55-inch Bravia 8 II: ₹2,46,990
- 65-inch Bravia 8 II: ₹3,41,990
The new Bravia 8 II QD-QLED TVs are now available at Sony retail stores, major electronics retailers, and online platforms across India.
