Redmi's latest tablet, the Pad 2, will officially hit the Indian market starting Tuesday, June 24. Customers can purchase the device in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants, offering a range of choices for users with different connectivity needs.
The Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chipset and houses a sizable 9,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging. It boasts an 11-inch 2.5K display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, aimed at delivering smooth visuals and improved viewing experience.
The tablet is fitted with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, suitable for video calls and casual photography. Additional features include AI-driven enhancements such as the "Circle to Search" function and support for the Redmi Active Pen, enhancing productivity and usability.
Pricing begins at Rs 12,999 for the entry-level model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The mid-tier variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which includes cellular support, is tagged at Rs 15,999. The top-end model featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 17,999.
