After following a unique release schedule Realme has launched the GT 7 to expand the series through a daring strategic expansion. The standard GT 7 follows its own route unlike last year's GT 7 Pro which made headlines with its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor launch but maintains equal ambition.

At a competitive Realme GT 7 price point of ₹39,999 the phone positions itself to challenge and dominate its sub-40K market segment competitors. Let’s dive in Realme GT 7 review.

Design

The Realme GT 7 features a new IceSense design which incorporates graphene in the chassis for the first time to boost heat management and user comfort during handling. The phone maintains a minimalistic design but exudes a high-end aesthetic.

Display

The Realme GT 7 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that reaches a resolution of 2780x1264 pixels while offering a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display ranks among the brightest available due to its support of HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and its peak brightness reaching 6,000 nits.

The phone ensures responsive touch feedback during gaming sessions through its 2600 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate which eliminates input lag.

OS and AI

The GT 7’s software experience delivers clean and efficient operation while tuning for productivity through Realme UI 6.0 which runs on Android 15. Realme commits to three major Android updates and four years of security patches which puts it on par with industry leaders.

Performance

The Realme GT 7 marks the Indian launch of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, a flagship-grade Realme GT 7 processor built on a 4nm process. The SoC built with TSMC’s advanced process technology and combined with Immortalis-G720 GPU achieves top-tier performance as promised.

Camera

Realme GT 7 demonstrates the evolution of its lineup from performance-only focus to having a strong camera system. It features a triple rear setup: The rear camera system includes a 50 MP Sony IMX906 main sensor alongside a 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera features a powerful 32 MP selfie camera.
