Realme 16 5G India Launch Preview Reveals ‘Selfie Mirror’ Feature for Improved Rear Camera Selfies

Oppo’s sub-brand Realme has introduced two new handsets in India and other global markets. Realme smartphone launch 2026 adds the extension of Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus smartphones. The company has shared the first official teaser of the Realme 16 15G.

Through a new microsite on its website and Flipkart, Realme has shared that the handset will soon launch in India. However, the right launch date is still under wraps. It is claimed to be India's first 'Selfie Mirror Phone,' with the phone teased to have a selfie mirror combined in the rear camera module alongside the rear camera system. This design looks to be inspired by the iPhone Air and Google Pixel 10 series.

Till date, the company hasn’t confirmed any further information about the features of the Realme 16. The phone is being positioned as a shiny and lightweight device, with a finish that feels best in hand. Under the hood, the Realme 16 is seemed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset with up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.
