Poco's next flagship, the Poco F7, is slated to debut in India on June 24. Ahead of the official unveiling, key specifications and potential pricing have surfaced online, offering a look at what the device may deliver.
According to information shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, the smartphone is expected to be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000. Although the brand has yet to confirm this price range, the leaked figures mirror previous pricing patterns for the F-series. Poco’s F6 and F5 were introduced at Rs 29,999, while the F4 launched at Rs 27,999, indicating a consistent pricing strategy.
The Flipkart listing for the Poco F7 hints at a standout feature — a massive 7,550mAh battery. This may be the largest battery on a mainstream smartphone in the Indian market. The company claims that typical users could experience over two days of usage per charge. The battery utilizes silicon-carbon technology and supports 90W wired charging alongside 22.5W reverse charging, allowing the device to act as a power source for other gadgets.
If these specifications hold, the F7 could outmatch devices like the iQOO Z10 and Vivo T4 in battery capacity. However, the design remains under wraps, and questions remain over whether the large battery will affect the phone's weight and ergonomics.
Performance-wise, leaks suggest the Poco F7 will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. A Geekbench entry indicates the device may ship with this processor and offer a 12GB RAM option. The chipset, built for premium performance, is expected to deliver near-flagship speeds. Unlike the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which uses a combination of power and efficiency cores, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 includes one Cortex-X4 and seven Cortex-A720 cores, favoring multi-core output at the potential cost of energy efficiency.
If the F7 launches in the Rs 30,000 bracket with this hardware, it may emerge as one of the most powerful options in its segment. Still, these details remain speculative until official confirmation.
Reports also indicate the Poco F7 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, recently released in China. If so, Indian buyers might see a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may also include IP68 protection against water and dust, with storage capacities reaching up to 1TB and RAM up to 16GB.
Camera specs, as per the leaks, could include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP front camera.
As the launch date approaches, more details are likely to emerge. If current predictions are accurate, the Poco F7 could significantly disrupt the mid-range smartphone market in India.
