Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series is expected to launch with advanced image stabilization across the entire lineup, according to a new report, marking a significant enhancement over previous models.
Citing unnamed sources, Android Headlines reported that the image stabilization in the Pixel 10 will deliver a smooth video experience that mimics the effect of external gimbals like DJI’s Osmo Mobile 6 — but entirely built into the device. The technology is expected to be available in all variants: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
While the core camera hardware is expected to remain similar to the Pixel 9 family, the standard Pixel 10 model may receive a telephoto lens for the first time. Specific technical details about the new stabilization system have not yet been disclosed.
Meanwhile, promotional materials sent by Google to select users under the Pixel Superfan program suggested an early debut for the series. However, the timeline has since shifted. Initial speculation placed the launch in early August, but the most recent information points to a possible official unveiling on August 20.
As of now, Google has not publicly confirmed any launch details or camera specifications.
